Panda SafeCD is a rescue disk that can locate and eliminate viruses on your PC directly from a CD or USB.

To use Panda SafeCD, just burn the ISO image to a physical CD or USB. Then boot your computer directly while using either. Panda SafeCD operates independently of Windows, so if a virus is keeping Windows from running properly, Panda SafeCD should be able to locate and eliminate it. The program works best when you need to scan and clean a PC that's currently infected with malware. This type of infected state generally gives traditional antivirus programs that run within Windows directly a more difficult time.

Panda SafeCD offers a thorough analysis of your hard drive. If a virus is found, the program will display it for you, then delete it. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, although there are very few advanced settings offered.

Keep in mind that Panda SafeCD is not meant to replace the other antivirus programs you use. Panda SafeCD focuses on emergency cases that need a thorough analysis. It also lacks a lot of the advanced options more comprehensive antivirus programs provide.
